Originally a 19th century church, now converted into friendly budget accommodation and licensed restaurant. The Inversnaid Bunkhouse is a unique Scottish hostel in the Stirling and Loch Lomond Area with facilities catered for travellers and walkers. Complete with original stained glass windows, in a truly serene setting, this Scottish bunkhouse provides a welcoming retreat in a totally unspoilt part of Scotland.

We are located at the top east corner of Loch Lomond just 800 meters from the West Highland Way and 15 scenic miles from the tourist town of Aberfoyle in the heart of the Trossachs National Park.

Bunkhouse

We are here to give you a friendly face and a warm welcome after a good days walk. We include a free pick up service from the West Highland Way footpath (available most days), evening meals, breakfast, packed lunches, hot showers, bedding and a boot/drying room. In addition, our friendly helpful staff are on hand to ensure your stay with us is a memorable one.
We can accommodate guests in 7 basic but cosy rooms with shared facilities within 2 twins; 4 triples and a 5 bed bunkroom. We have camping available with full use of the bunkhouse facilities. We also have 2 double rooms that share one w/c and shower in the adjoining log cabin.

Seasonal, locally sourced meals prepared by our experienced Head Chef.

Start the day with a bowl of warming porridge or our continental breakfast and enjoy a hearty meal at the end of a long days walking, hiking or cycling.

Our fully stocked bar offers an extensive range of local Scottish ales, ciders and whiskey.

A packed lunch can also be prepared to ensure you have all you need for a busy day on the trails.

Dinner, breakfast and packed lunch can only be booked upon check in. No need to worry, we expect whoever stays with us, dines with us.

Equipped with a guitar guests can join in or simply relax and soak up the atmosphere. Board games and free wi-fi are also available.

Bookings can be made online.  We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, VISA ELECTRON. In order to confirm the booking the cost of the room is payable in advance. A refund on cancellation is available 2 weeks before your arrival. Bookings will be confirmed by email.
